ROLE SNAPSHOT
MultiCare is hiring a Contract Specialist where your in-depth knowledge and expertise of assigned contracts will support internal education and operational compliance with contract terms. You'll collect and assimilate payer contract information to support contract implementation, operations, and customer service functions, develop and maintain contract summaries to support internal education and operational compliance with contract terms, and assist in researching issues and recommend resolutions to escalated claim payment, reimbursement, and operations issues.
Experience required: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration with 5+ years related experience and training (or equivalent combination of education and experience), minimum 5 years related experience, and experience with commercial payers contracts, payment variance, policies, and contract methodologies.
