WHAT YOU'LL DO:
ASPCA is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager to provide strategic direction, coordination and tracking of organization priority projects and large-scale projects as it relates to IT Operations, Information Security (Cyber) and Technical Support. You'll manage execution of key organizational technology priority projects and initiatives, lead all project management activities for initiatives that effectively and efficiently track multiple streams of work to ensure work moves forward in timely fashion, proactively manage scope, actions, issues, and risks to ensure project success following change control procedures effectively, assess current delivery practices and lead evolution of Product, Data, and Reporting Solutions development team to fully functioning project management model including backlog management and coaching teams, develop and cultivate strong relationships with leaders to encourage and facilitate timely decision-making, create and maintain tracking system/calendar for IT team project inventory to ensure timely completion of key IT team projects, and serve as project manager for project inventory establishing regular review cadence with IT leadership team and reporting on key risks and overdue projects.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High School degree or GED required (bachelor's degree preferred), PMP or similar certification required, minimum 10 years project management experience with minimum 7 years leading large-scale IT projects (building tracking systems, implementation of processes and deliverables) in large business or non-profit, demonstrated experience leading or significantly contributing to assessing existing project management approaches to look for improvement opportunities, proficiency in project management experience leading custom product/application development projects, proficiency in project management experience leading data warehouse migration/data mapping and big data and reporting related projects, experience overseeing high-visibility/high-budget project portfolios, demonstrated experience with agile methodology including release and sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, and strong knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint (advanced project management platform skills preferred).
