ROLE SNAPSHOT
Thomson Reuters is hiring a Vice President of Sales to lead a high-performing regional sales organization driving strategy and execution for the Enterprise segment within Corporates, setting vision and go-to-market strategy while driving new customer acquisition and expansion in partnership with Product, Marketing, Partnerships & Alliances, Solution Consulting, and Professional Services to deliver consistent revenue growth and exceptional customer outcomes. You'll own top-line sales metrics nationwide for all Thomson Reuters propositions sold to Corporate enterprise clients, manage sales force and delivery operations, develop sales strategies creating a high-performance culture, and build effective contact management approaches ensuring regular client engagement, pipeline growth, and over-achievement against sales targets. This executive role requires 12+ years in B2B enterprise sales with 4+ years leading regional sales teams, proven track record exceeding revenue and growth targets, and demonstrated expertise in solution selling and negotiation for software/technology including services with tech company experience required. You'll maintain a 3.5x new business pipeline ratio, facilitate coaching of Sales Managers to drive high performance culture, coordinate across sales and cross-functional teams for proper scoping and coverage across regional geographies, and engage directly with key clients to help close complex deals. Strong command of sales processes, account planning, complex deal orchestration, and executive selling is essential, along with proficiency in analytics tools like Salesforce, Tableau/Power BI, and Adobe Target/Optimizely, plus excellent executive communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
