ROLE SNAPSHOT

PETA is hiring a PETA Latino, South America Special Projects Coordinator to develop campaigns, generate media coverage, and cultivate celebrity and influencer support to advance PETA Latino's objectives in South America with focus on Colombia and Argentina. You'll research opportunities for outreach through media, campaigning, and celebrity channels, organize celebrity and influencer projects including photo shoots and production of print, radio, TV commercials, and social media campaigns, seek out and maintain relationships with animal rights advocates and groups in South America, organize pro-animal demonstrations, develop and maintain relationships with music and entertainment industry professionals, and represent the organization to media in South America.


Experience required: Minimum 2 years of marketing or public relations experience, college degree in communications or related field (or equivalent experience), fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing), proven interest and strong working knowledge of Latin American culture, and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle.
