ROLE SNAPSHOT
Lumen is hiring a Regional Vice President, Custom Network Implementation for the Western Region to execute on custom networks strategy through implementing tailored network solutions for customers leading a team that owns and drives network builds, infrastructure build, network optimization, and strategic investments. You'll manage all custom network implementations in region from planning, forecasting, scope validation, date management, milestone management, financial management, and supplier management, meet with stakeholders and internal customers to develop and review operational targets and projects, be responsible for capacity resolution including tactical planning and solutions engineering for custom network orders, ensure proper network commissioning and testing including logical configurations and acceptance, be accountable for outside plant construction services including management of building adds and fiber inventory, and meet all financial targets including regional CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
Experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, General or Business (Master's degree preferred), 12+ years experience in network architecture, design, implementation or infrastructure with minimum 5 years in senior leadership role, proven record leading successful fiber network deployment initiatives, deep understanding of network technologies and architectures, and excellent leadership and people management skills.
