ROLE SNAPSHOT

The ASPCA is hiring an Intern in Applied Animal Welfare Research to develop knowledge and skills in leveraging data to create impact for animals under direct supervision of the Research and Impact Measurement Teams. You'll assist with program evaluation or research planning including literature review, data collection, statistical analysis, and qualitative analysis, learn and practice project management skills, develop field-facing and public-facing research communications plans, participate in webinars and conferences for sharing research findings, and attend internal meetings with collaborating programmatic teams. This one-semester internship (10-20 hours/week, potential to extend) is open to students currently enrolled in academic programs (graduate or advanced undergraduate preferred) and requires proficiency with Excel, solid critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and strong written and oral communication skills.
