ROLE SNAPSHOT

The Humane League is hiring a Donor Relations Lead to independently manage and execute cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for a portfolio of approximately 1,000 mid-level donors giving $500-$2,499 annually (totaling ~$1M). You'll build meaningful relationships through virtual and in-person meetings, conduct personalized renewal outreach via phone and written communication, execute retention strategies with data-informed insights, collaborate with Development staff to qualify and upgrade prospects, and maintain detailed donor files in EveryAction while tracking engagement activities in Asana. This relationship-centered fundraising role requires 2+ years in fundraising, customer success, account management, sales, or membership engagement, excellent persuasive communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities to manage a large portfolio independently, and dedication to THL's mission with animal protection or social impact experience preferred.
