ROLE SNAPSHOT
Majesco is hiring a Senior Principal Architect / Director of Architecture with deep Java expertise to lead design of scalable, high-performance SaaS systems shaping platform architecture, mentoring engineering teams, and driving technical decisions across Java, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure. You'll define and lead architecture for enterprise SaaS platforms built on Java and cloud technologies, design scalable microservices systems supporting high-volume mission-critical applications, guide engineering teams on Java development best practices including concurrency and performance optimization, lead architecture reviews and set engineering standards for distributed systems and APIs, design cloud-native solutions using Azure services including Kubernetes and serverless functions, and establish monitoring, observability, and performance practices.
Experience required: 10+ years hands-on experience in Java engineering and software architecture, proven success designing and delivering scalable enterprise or SaaS platforms, strong experience building microservices architectures and distributed systems, experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, deep understanding of system performance and concurrency, and experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MSSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra).
