ROLE SNAPSHOT
Zoom is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to lead security design and reviews across products and services with a specific focus on Platform services and core infrastructure components, serving as a trusted security advisor for engineering teams. You'll conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, security code reviews, and cloud infrastructure assessments—with primary focus on AWS components like IAM and S3—while performing in-depth security reviews of new Zoom features to identify OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities, NVD issues, and RCE risks. This role involves reviewing Java or Python code, using tools like Burp Suite and Coverity for testing, identifying gaps in cloud security architecture, and providing hands-on security training on secure coding best practices to engineering teams across platform-level security and SDLC compliance.
