ROLE SNAPSHOT

MultiCare is hiring a Credentialing Specialist to coordinate all provider credentialing and re-credentialing services, working in partnership with the CVO Manager and Regional Director. You'll analyze provider contracts and applications for completeness, monitor credentialing documentation including licensure and board certification, and utilize PECOS and CAQH credentialing databases while submitting and retrieving National Practitioner Database reports. This role requires working under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment, responding to inquiries from healthcare organizations, and interfacing with internal and external customers on day-to-day credentialing issues.
